Diagnosis
Vertex smooth and shiny, with a complete median groove; mesoscutum with raised and strong reticulation, midlobe with posterior ¼ with engraved reticulation; propodeal callus with two setae; coxae dark and metallic; costal cell bare; petiole 2.2X as long as wide in female, 3.1X in male; female with first gastral tergite smooth and shiny; male scape reddish-brown with dorsal edge dark brown; antennal scrobes parallel or converging towards toruli. Similar to chydaeus but female with dark and metallic coxae, male scape widest medially, and both sexes with midlobe of mesoscutum with anterior ½ with raised reticulation.
